招生概况

(一) 招生对象

在沪工作的外籍人士或港澳台人士的子女。

(二) 招生年级

徐汇校区：1-5年级(小学);6-8年级( 初中 );9-12年级(高中)。

张江校区：1-5年级(小学)

临港校区：1-3年级(小学)

虹口校区：逐年开设1-8年级(小学及初中)

奉贤校区：2026年9月开设1年级和6年级

(三) 学制

一学年分为两个学期。第一学期从每年9月1日至次年2月;第二学期从次年2月至8月底。其中7月1日至8月31日为暑假;中国春节前后有三周左右的寒假。每学年春秋假各1天;圣诞节放假3天;元旦放假1天;劳动节和国庆节等法定节假日按上海市人民政府规定放假。

徐汇校区：

上午8：15上课;

中午12：10～13：10午餐和休息;

下午13：10～15：50 (周一～周四)/ 13：10～14：10上课(周五);

校车16：08(周一～周四)/14：28(周五)发车。

(五) 校车

学校为学生提供校车服务。

接送范围：徐汇校区为直线距离13公里以内，张江校区为10公里以内，临港校区为临港周边地区，虹口校区为10公里以内。

(六) 餐厅

徐汇校区设有两个学生餐厅，由索迪斯公司经营。学生可以在餐厅用餐(餐费自理)或自带午餐。学校提供微波炉和冰箱。

(七)智慧校园

自2019年5月起，上海中学国际部将“人脸识别”技术逐步应用于校车系统、学生进出校门管理等，并努力打造开放、可持续发展的智慧校园综合服务平台。

上海中学国际部欢迎具有艺术(美术、歌唱、舞蹈、戏剧、器乐等)或运动(篮球、足球、游泳、网球等)特长的学生报名我校。报名时请同时递交自我陈述和相关材料，优秀者可予以优先录取。

General Information

I. Enrollment Policy

SHSID enrolls qualified children of foreign personnel in Shanghai, including students from Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macao of China.

II. Grades

Xuhui Campus: Grades 1-5 (primary school); 6-8 (middle school); 9-12 (high school)

Zhangjiang Campus: Grades 1-5 (primary school)

Lingang Campus: Grades 1-3 (primary school)

Hongkou Campus: Grades 1-5 (primary school); 6-8 (middle school) (G1 opens 2023-2024. New grades will be opened year by year as each grade of students moves up).

Fengxian Campus: Grade 1 and Grade 6 will be opened in September, 2026

III. Academic Calendar

The school year is divided into two semesters. The 1st semester starts on September 1st and ends in February. The 2nd semester is from February to August. The summer vacation spans July and August, and winter vacation is three weeks around the Spring Festival. Other holidays: one day for Spring Holiday, one day for Autumn Holiday, three days for Christmas, and one day for New Year’s Day. The break for other national holidays are subject to notification from the Shanghai Municipal Government.

IV. School Hours

Xuhui Campus:

School hours: 8:15-15:50 (Monday-Thursday)/ 8:15-14:10 (Friday)

Lunch Break: 12:10-13:10

Shuttle buses leave at 16:08 (Monday-Thursday)/14:28 (Friday)

V. School Bus

The school provides school bus services for students.

Transfer ranges: Xuhui Campus is within a straight distance of 13 kilometers, Zhangjiang Campus is within 10 kilometers,Hongkou Campus is within 10 kilometers and Lingang Campus is the surrounding area of Lingang.

Fengxian Campus: doesn’t provide school buses currently.

VI. Cafeteria

Xuhui Campushas two student cafeterias run by Sodexo. Meals are provided for the students at a fixed daily rate. Students may bring their own lunch. Microwaves and refrigerators are available.

VII. Smart Campus

Since May 2019, Shanghai High School International Division has gradually applied "facial recognition" technology to the school bus system, school gate access control, etc. The school is striving to build an open and sustainable smart campus comprehensive service platform.

SHSID welcomes students who have special talents in art (painting, singing, dancing, drama, instrumental music, etc.) or athletics (basketball, football, swimming, tennis, etc.). Please submit a self-introduction and related materials if you specialize in the areas mentioned above, the school will prioritize and contact the outstanding applicants to offer admission.
